About Google Software Engineer Xuanyi Yu
Xuanyi Yu, a Google software engineer (born August 27, 1996, and died January 16, 2024), unfortunately fell victim to a horrifying murder committed by her spouse, Liren Chen. The event took place in their Santa Clara home, when Yu was fatally beaten with extreme brutality, leaving their bedroom a sight of unspeakable carnage.
The Gruesome Murder of Xuanyi Yu
Xuanyi Yu died in Santa Clara on January 16, 2024, and her husband Liren Chen is suspected of killing his wife. When Chen didn’t answer the door or calls, someone became concerned, and the police were called to their house.
Chen was kneeling with his hands raised when the cops arrived, and it was a frightening scene as they entered. Xuanyi was bleeding profusely and, tragically, did not survive. According to reports, Chen lost control and beat his wife repeatedly till she passed away.
Near the spot where Xuanyi was discovered, Chen was discovered at the site, according to the Santa Clara District Attorney, with a severely swollen and purple right hand.
